Rajagopal Swamy, Mannargudi

This temple is so special to my family. We have a bond with the name of the bond in such a way that we had named kids in our family as Rajagopal.
The temple is MASSIVE ! Structure.  This is almpst as huge as Srirangam temple (probably next biggest to Sriranga, temple in terms of Vishnu temples are concerned)
The temple tank is a sight to cherish. I havent seen as big as this one.
This town is good 35-40kms from Kumbakonam.  The drive along the cauvery canals especially in rainy season will be a memorable one.

This drive is as good as the Konaseema, AP drive.
The temple is piously maintained. The temple elephant is a cute and welcoming one.
